Ellis, 62 BRIDGEVILLE - Dennis Raymond Ellis passed away on July 28, 2014 at Indian River Medical Center in Vero Beach, Fla. He was born April 17, 1952 in Milford to the late Raymond O. and Edna (King) Ellis Hearn. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Carolyn Jefferson (2004). He is survived by two daughters; Jessica Semrau of Harrington and Erica Messick of Milford; a son, Raymond Ellis of Oregon; two sisters, Constance Clifton of Leesburg, Fla., and Gail Wheatley of Bridgeville; a brother, Robert Krause of Goosecreek, S.C.; four grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 6, 2014 at Oddfellows Cemetery, West Street, Laurel, DE with Pastor Rocky Shanks officiating. The Marine Corp Honor Guard will also be present. Memorial donations can be made to Wounded Warrior Project.
