MILFORD - Dennis Dominic ("Mase," "Rock Steady") Mason Sr., 45, of Milford, died Saturday, Oct. 2, 2010, at Christiana Care Hospital in Newark. Born in Salisbury, he was the son of Stanley Mason of Salisbury and the late Virginia Williams Mason. He was a 1982 graduate of Milford High School and served in the U.S. Army until receiving an honorable discharge. He was formerly employed as a truck driver for Perdue, Inc. of Georgetown for 7 years and the former Draper King Cole for twelve years. Besides his father, he is survived by his stepmother, Dr. Geri Mason of Salisbury; four children, Tony (Sylvia) Benson of Camden, Tara (Bruce) Mosley of Lincoln, Dennis, Jr. and Summer Mason, both of Ellendale; 12 grandchildren; two brothers, Corey Mason of Selbyville, and Ricky Serano of Philadelphia; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews; and five special friends, Nathaniel Gibbs, Kenny Owens, Granville Hazzard, Sr., Donald Ashley, and Evette Mason. Twin sisters, Latricia and Patricia Mason, preceded him in death. A funeral service will be noon, Monday, Oct. 11, 2010, at Welcome Full Gospel Holiness Church, Lincoln, where friends may call two hours prior to service. Interment will be held 11:00 a.m., Tuesday in the Delaware Memorial Veteran's Cemetery in Millsboro, Del. Funeral services are entrusted to Jolley Memorial Chapel, Salisbury. Visit delmarvanow.com
