Delores J. Mullarkey

DOVER - Delores J. (Cavalero) Mullarkey passed away Friday, Apr. 14, 2017, at Dover Place Assisted Living (Heritage of Dover). Mrs. Mullarkey was born Apr. 10, 1934, in Butler, Pa.
She worked in the cashier's office for Sears & Roebuck and retired with 20 years of service. "Dee" as everyone called her, loved her trips to the Dover Downs Slots, enjoyed bowling and traveling to St. Petersburg, Fla., during the winter months. She loved and cherished her family and friends and will be greatly missed.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William J. Mullarkey in 2013; and son, Kevin M. Mullarkey in 2006.
She is survived by her daughter, Kathleen M. (Lee) Mullarkey, of Dover; two sons, Brian J. Mullarkey and wife, Donna, of Waxhaw, N.C., and Sean P. Mullarkey and wife, Cindy, of Milford; grandchildren, Brianna Trujillo, Derek Mullarkey, Alysse Mullarkey, Kayla Mullarkey, Skye Mullarkey, Kellie Mullarkey, and Kyle Mullarkey; and five great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Francine Maloney, of Texas; and a brother, Frank Cavalero, of Georgia.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., with visitations from 12 to 1 p.m., on Sunday, May 7, 2017, at Torbert Funeral Chapel, 61 S. Bradford St., Dover, DE 19904. Interment will be in private.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the American Cancer Society.
