MILFORD - Delores Hudson depated this lifeon Thursday, Aug. 4, 2011 in her loving sister's home, Paster Elizabeth Dukes, in Ellendale, surrounded by her loved ones, after an extended illness. Delores was born on Dec. 20, 1942 in Belle Glade, Florida, daughter of the late Sylvester and Ida Mae (Adams) Watson. She worked for the last seven years as a home health aide for Addus Home Care, Milford until her illness in April. Her hobbies included watching the television show Cops, playing bingo, shopping and visiting with family and friends. She was a member of Temple of Faith in Ellendale and the Breast Cancer Society. She accepted Christ in her life as her personal savior. She was a loving aunt, her great-niece Desiree Thompson took loving care of her in her last months of life. Delores was preceded in death by her sisters; Rosetta Watson and Dorothy Mae Watson; and her brothers-in-law, Bishop Willie J. Dukes and David Preston. She leaves behind her brothers, Selena Watson of Dover, Lorenzo Watson of Rochester, N.Y. and his wife Rita, and Leroy Watson of Ellendale; sisters, Reather Mae Preston of Rochester, N.Y., Elizabeth Dukes of Ellendale, Betty Figueroa and her husband Jesus of Ellendale and Ruth Hazzard of Newark; her niece and caregiver, Janet Watson Rooks and her husband Vincent of Seaford; two uncles, George Watson and his wife Laura and Tommy Watson and his wife Ruth both of Plainfield, GA; a goddaughter; Catherine "Nikki" Marshall and her husband Reggie of Milford; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and good friends. We will all miss her so. Service will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 11, 2011 at the Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming, where friends may gather from 11 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. prior to the service. Burial will follow in Barratt's Chapel Cemetery, Frederica.
