Cabrera, 97 DOVER - Delfina "Mamafina" Cabrera resident of Dover passed away peacefully surrounded by family on October 12, 2013, her 97th birthday. Mamafina was raised in David, Chiriqui, Panama where she was a wife, mother, and a homemaker. She was one of seven children born to the late Nicolas and Juanita Cabrera. Mamafina is survived by her five children, son, Arsenio Gonzalez and daughter-in-law Rosalinda; son, Mario Gonzalez and daughter-in-law Enriqueta; son, Carlos Gonzalez and daughter-in-law Ida; daughter, Norma Brenes Cabrera widowed; and daughter, Mirna Brenes Richard and son-in-law Joseph Richard Jr. with whom she lived; In addition, Mamafina, will forever be remembered by her seventeen grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren, and one great grandchild. Mamafina touched the lives of many people with her smile and generosity, and maintained her trademark sense of humour all the way to the end. She loved being with her family, having fun with friends, sewing, singing, dancing, traveling, and being a foster grandparent at head start in Dover. Friends and family are invited to attend mass 9:30 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 19, 2013 at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 631 S. State Street, Dover.
