Posted

Haley Malice, Ashlee Jones, Julie Dominick, and Nikki Chisnell, Delaware Technical Community College Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education students, were recently awarded as the first college Maureen Schab Scholars recipients.

This scholarship fund was created in honor of Maureen Schab, who was a lifelong teacher teaching at Milton Junior High School and Lewes Middle School, as well as for the Academic Challenge program at Delaware Tech's Owens Campus in Georgetown.

The fund supports BSE students while they are in their residency year (second year) of the program.
