DOVER — Delaware State men’s basketball standout Martaz Robinson has entered the NCAA Transfer Portal.
The senior guard put his name in the portal on Sunday, the day after the Hornets ended their season with a 79-66 loss to Seattle in the first round of the College Basketball Invitational Tournament.
The 6-foot-2 Robinson averaged 15.9 points, 6.5 rebounds and 2.2 assists as DSU went 15-19 this winter, finishing with the most wins for the program since 2015. He was named first-team All-MEAC and reached 1,000 points for his career this year.
Robinson was honored on the Hornets’ Senior Night during the regular season.
“Martaz Robinson has been a staple in this program since my arrival,” DelState coach Stan Waterman wrote at the time..”It has been a pleasure to watch him grow and mature as a player and young man.”
