DOVER, Del. (AP) — Nehemiah Reedus scored 19 points as Delaware State beat Saint Vincent 86-52 on Monday in a season opener for both teams.
Reedus had five rebounds and four steals for the Hornets. Nasir Muhammad added 18 points while going 7 of 11 (4 for 7 from 3-point range) to go with five rebounds. Isaiah Sullivan shot 6 for 15, including 3 for 7 from beyond the arc, to finish with 16 points.
Terek Crosby led the Bearcats in scoring, finishing with 11 points.
Delaware State visits Navy in its next matchup on Thursday.
