Delaware school tax bill becomes law without Meyer’s signature

Bill sponsor says governor ‘could have worked with us’ on reassessment measures

Gov. Matt Meyer announced Friday, Aug. 7, that a bill allowing New Castle County school districts to use different tax rates for residential and nonresidential properties would become law without his signature.
