Retiree benefits subcommittee to meet Sept. 8 in Dover

DOVER — The Retiree Healthcare Benefits Advisory Subcommittee will meet Sept. 8 at 1 p.m. to continue discussions on pensioner coverage in Delaware.

The subcommittee of the State Employee Benefits Committee will discuss coverage recommendations that will be reported to the governor and General Assembly on Oct. 1.

During the group’s meeting Aug. 24, members voted on several suggestions, including taking Medicare Advantage off the table ahead of the upcoming request for proposals for retiree health care coverage.

The meeting will be in the Department of Insurance’s Sussex Conference Room, 1351 W. North St., Suite 101. A link to the livestream is available at publicmeetings.delaware.gov.
