DOVER — Delaware Crime Stoppers is offering a $5,000 cash reward for information leading to arrest in a homicide in August, authorities said.
Delaware State Police said they are investigting the death of Mark Garrett, 63, of Dover, who was found dead on a bike trail in Dover Aug. 30.
According to authorities, at approximately 6:28 a.m., troopers responded to the Isaac Branch Greenway trail in the area of South Bay Road and President Drive, for a report of a man lying on the ground near the wood line. When troopers arrived, they discovered a man, later identified as Mr. Garrett, dead with severe injuries.
Police said information can be provided to Delaware Crime Stoppers by calling 1-800-847-3333, calling Detective D. Grassi at 302-365-8441, e-mailing daniel.grassi@delaware.gov or sending Delaware State Police a private Facebook message. Tipsters can remain anonymous.
