MILFORD - Debra " Debbie" Sue Donovan, 55 of Milford, died Tuesday, Feb. 3, 2015 at John Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Md. She was born in Milford, and raised in Lincoln. She was the daughter of the late Donald Lee and Charlotte Wood. She worked as a fork lift operator for US Cold Storage in Milford. For over 20 years, her life was devoted to her grand kids and she loved taking them to Rehoboth on the rides. She was a great cook and loved to have family and friends over to enjoy her food. She had a great fear of the water, but that didn't stop her from loving to fish! She loved spending time on the boat fishing with her husband. She is survived by her husband, Leslie Fox Donovan; her son, Leslie Fox Donovan, Jr. and wife Karin; three grandchildren, Jessica Nicole, Rebecca Lynn and Leslie Fox, III. She was one of nine children and is survived by her siblings, Donald Wood, Louise and Rick Maloney, David and Lois Wood, Charles Wood, Rose Wood, Vickie LeCates, Robert and Jennifer Wood and Floyd and Laura Wood. Also, by her devoted best friends, Cheryl Mattingly and Kathy Conaway. A memorial service will be 11 a.m., Saturday, Feb. 14, 2015 at Calvary United Methodist Church, 301 SE Front Street, Milford, DE 19963. Arrangements handled by Berry Short Funeral Home, Milford, Delaware. In lieu of flowers donations can be sent to the Cancer Society PO Box 163, Salisbury, MD 21803.
