Deborrah Anne Newman

DOVER - Deborrah Anne Newman passed away Wednesday, Feb. 12, 2014 in the Delaware Hospice Center, Milford. She was 53. Deborrah was born March 14, 1960 in Chicago, Ill. Deborrah was a member of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows Lodge and was the first female elected into the position of Grand Master. She was also a member of the Rebekkah Assembly of Delaware, in which she held various offices including President. She also volunteered time to raise funds for Autism, MS, and Eye Care. She was preceded in death by a brother, Johnny Ray Bozeman; and her father, Donald Bozeman. She is survived by her mother, Sarah Bozeman of Marshallton, Del.; daughters, Heather Warner and her husband Fred, of Harrington, and Regina Alphin and her husband James Korell, IV, of Greensboro, Md.; her son; Randy Newman of Frederica; her companion, Roland Longacre "Andy" of Dover; siblings, Bill Nelson, Donald Bozeman, Patricia Iannone, Steven Bozeman, John Newman, and H. Blaine Bozeman; half-siblings, Jeffrey, Christine, and Linda Newman; eight grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 22, 2014 at Torbert Funeral Chapel South, 1145 E. Lebanon Road (Rt.10), Dover. Friends may call one hour prior. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to Torbert Funeral Chapels. Letters of condolences may be sent and guest book signed at www.torbertfuneral.com.
