FELTON - Deborah Ranshaw (Smith) passed on July 23rd, 2016 in Missouri. I'm grateful you're now with your parents, Shanley and Bertha Smith, of Felton. Deborah graduated from Lake Forest High School, class of '72, and worked several years for Goodwill. Alzheimer's and cancer are cruel diseases but I'm so glad your not in pain anymore and you can be happy once again, even though you were only 62 years old. I will be there someday, so wait patiently and watch over me, and know, I will miss you everyday. I know you will be there greeting me with open arms. Your surviving brothers and sister, Shanley Smith, III, Robert B. Smith, and JoAnne Dones (Smith), will think of you often and will see you again too someday. Deborah's wishes were to be cremated and ashes to be spread at Courseys Pond with no service. We will all be together someday...and happy. Love, your only child, Rachelle Godi (Carey).
