Debbra M. Bibbins-Johnson DOVER - Debbra M. Bibbins-Johnson, age 43, passed away Sunday night, Nov. 22, 2009. She was born in Staten Island, N.Y., on March 17, 1966, to Lavarne and Shirley (Lewis) Francis. Mrs. Johnson received her early education in the Stanton Island School system and graduated from Dover High School in Dover in 1984. She entered the U.S. Army in 1984 and was stationed at Walter Reed Medical Center. Mrs. Bibbins-Johnson was discharged 1988. Dee as she was known by family and friends was a very outgoing person. She loved to be around people. She leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Kevin Johnson; two daughters, Janai and Jasmine; her parents, Lee and Shirley Francis; one sister, Sherel Ott; her maternal grandmother, Emma Lewis; a mother-in-law, Louise Johnson; a father-in-law, James Johnson Sr.; a sister-in-law, Cassandra Bibbins-Johnson; a brother-in-law, James Johnson Jr.; a godson, Stephon Campbell; three favorite nephews, Phillip Francis, Julian Johnson, and Jared Johnson affectingly known as "Her Boys"; and a host of aunts, uncles, nephews, cousins and friends. Celebration of Life will take place at 11 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 28, at Whatcoat United Methodist Church, 341 Saulsbury Road, Dover, where a viewing will be held two hour prior to service. Interment will be held at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 2465 Chesapeake City Road, Bear, on Tuesday, Dec. 1, at 11 a.m. Arrangements by Bennie Smith Funeral Home, Dover.
