Dean Eric Lubbers passed away on November 21 2025. He was born June 24, 1968 to JoAnn Ahonen and Gary Lubbers. He spent most of his life in Smyrna, where he graduated from High School. He graduated from Delaware Technical Community College.
He enjoyed community events and was previously a softball assistant coach for Smyrna/Clayton Little Lass. He was a fan of NASCAR and Washington Football. He was a Christian.
He is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his 3 daughters, Nicole Lubbers, Danielle Lubbers, and Rebecca Martin (Tyler). He is also survived by his Aunts Carol Thornton and Linda Speakman as well as many cousins.
Ceremony will be private. In leiu of flowers, donations can be made to NAMI or by taking the family or friends out to Applebee's where he liked to eat.
