GREENSBORO, MD - David Nailor Wells went home to be with the Lord at his home on Sat., Nov. 21, 2015. David was a dedicated farmer in Greensboro for many years. He had a true love for farming and partnered side by side with his wife Mary as they both worked tirelessly to see their dairy farm succeed. Along with his love for Mary and their farm, he loved his Lord. He enjoyed when he and Mary would attend gospel hymn sings. David was a member of Cedar Neck Church, the Farm Bureau in Delaware and Maryland, and both the National and Maryland Holstein Associations. David was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Nailor and Ruth (Collins) Wells. He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Mary (Shepard) Wells; a brother, William Wells and wife Janet of Felton; a sister, Linda Miller and husband Fred of Virginia; a niece, Sharon Evans; his dog, Penny; and a host of extended members of the Wells family. A funeral service will be held Fri., Nov. 27, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Short Funeral Services, 416 Federal Street, Milton, with visitation after 11:00 a.m. Burial will be in Whites Chapel Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Cedar Neck Church, 3413 McColley Road, Milford, Del 19963.
