David Miller Maloney, age 68, was born in Milford, DE on May 1, 1956 and died at his home in Madison Heights Virginia, where he resided with his youngest daughter, Donna Sue Nye and son-in-law Eric Nye.
He is survived also by his oldest daughter Cammy Lynn Bratcher, a brother Dennis Maloney, 5 grandchildren, Nathaniel Lake Jr., Darren Lake, Marcus Lake, Keith Nye and Kayla Nye; 3 great-grandchildren Chanel, Savanna and Briella Lake; 1 niece and 4 nephews and a host of family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his sister Fay Lecates, mother Mary Maloney and father Donald Maloney. He worked for Nanticoke Homes for many years as a truck driver .
He loved hunting, fishing, playing pool and morning rides around "Milford Neck". He was a member of the PACE program in Lynchburg, VA and in Milford, DE. He was a member of the Frederica Senior Center, which he loved to attend. A Celebration of Life will be held on August 21st at the Frederica Senior Center in Frederica, DE from 2-4pm. Burial will be private.
