TOWNSEND - David E. Humphries, 77, of Townsend, passed away, Jan. 12, 2011. He is survived by his wife, Janice; his daughters, Jean Sauter, Kristen Aiello and Elizabeth Stathis; and grandchildren, Christopher, Dustin, Amanda, Brittany, Katie, Ian and Kyle. Funeral services will be 2:30 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 16, from Townsend Freewill Baptist Church, 4519 S. DuPont Highway, Townsend, where friends may visit with the family one hour prior to services. Interment will follow in Old Drawyers Cemetery, near Odessa. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in David's name to The Kidney Cancer Association, www.kidneycancer.org; Washington College, Annual Giving for Economics Department, http://www.washcoll.edu; or to Townsend Freewill Baptist Church, http://www.tfwb.org.
