The Democratic Party my parents supported when I was growing up is long gone and dead. Instead, it’s been replaced by a radical group of people whose hatred for our president has created an atmosphere where they, in conjunction with our national print and news media, are more supportive of illegal immigrants and criminals than they are of American citizens. Their hatred for our president has gone to the extreme of fighting him at every turn versus trying to improve the lives of every American.
The fuel for this hatred is stoked by the extremely visceral language of the Democrats and their supporters in our national print and news media. When, if ever, have we heard a positive story about President Donald Trump from ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN, MS NOW, The New York Times or The Washington Post?
The extreme language used against Trump by those in New York, Illinois, California, Massachusetts, Colorado, Oregon and other states — to include Delaware — is only getting worse. Forget the damage to our country and its citizens; these states, in their hatred for our president and U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, are throwing their full support to illegal immigrants and criminals.
As we prepare for the 2026 midterm elections, our individual vote is more important than ever. As you enter the voting booth, forget all the visceral rhetoric we will hear against any Republican who supports President Trump and understand that the Democrats have zero functional policies that will improve the lives of every American citizen.
The Democrats are screaming that the lack of affordability and health care was caused by President Trump. However, they were actually created by the Democrats, with their insane spending during Joe Biden’s term and the absolute and total failure of Obamacare. Ask any Democrat what his or her solution to affordability and health care is, and aside from blaming Trump, he or she will say that it’s more incredible government spending and more government regulation designed to control our everyday lives. The Democrats don’t believe in capitalism; they’ve morphed into championing socialism, with the language of compassion, love and, sadly, racism.
Sen. Chris Coons and Rep. Sarah McBride, both D-Del., will be on the ballot in November. While I believe they are decent individuals, the political beliefs they champion will destroy this state and country. Neither one of them deserves your vote. Here’s why:
I believe all of us are rational thinkers and voters. Forget all the “noise” created by the Democrats, as all they want is to deflect the real meaning of their policies — we, the government, will take care of you. I ask every Delawarean who enters a voting booth in November to remember the terrible four years (just reread the bullets above) of Joe Biden’s presidency and vote based on your love of our country and not your hatred for President Trump.
