The Democratic Party has taken “Trump Derangement Syndrome” to appalling new levels, and it could be the downfall of our democracy. In the race for New York City’s mayor, those who hate President Donald Trump the most have thrown their unbridled support to Mr. Zohran Mamdani, an avowed communist who is nothing more than a smiling terrorist who hates the United States, Israel, the Jews and the city’s police department. How any thoughtful New Yorker can cast a ballot for someone totally unqualified to be his or her mayor is beyond me. Don’t let his smiling face fool you; he is a tentacle of a group dedicated to destroying our democracy and instituting Islamic rule.
Mr. Mamdani preaches affordability and the betterment of the lives of working New Yorkers. However, his promises and policies are based on nothing more than total government control of your life. According to him, government is responsible for providing you with a comfortable life. He is also a strong proponent of the government controlling the means of production. That translates into government control of all of our industries — no more private corporations or entities. The government is everything!
If those communistic ideas aren’t bad enough, look deeply at those who are supporting him and the funding he’s getting from overseas. Behind that smile and the nonanswers to every hard question asked is a Muslim man who despises our democracy and wants to see us bow to Islamic ideals and culture.
The dangerous part of his candidacy is that the tentacle he represents is already in Michigan and Minnesota. If he wins, within a year or two, that and other tentacles will reach out to other cities and states, spewing the same type of rhetoric he’s using in New York — affordable housing, government grocery stores and free public transportation. Any sane person knows that nothing is free and that his type of absolute government control has never worked.
Delaware is controlled by the Democratic “Boss” Tweed machine of New Castle County. What will the machine and our three representatives in Washington, D.C., do when the Mamdani tentacle reaches Delaware? I fear that they will embrace his smiling ways and discriminatory language because they are so infected with Trump Derangement Syndrome.
Our three representatives in Washington are hard-core Democrats who care little about this state and our country. Their only goal is to use any means necessary to get back into power. All three of them claim to be leaders, but individually, they are sycophants of House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries and Sen. Chuck Schumer, both D-N.Y. Jeffries has already endorsed Mamdani, and it’s only a matter of time before Schumer does.
Immigrants who used to come to this country were highly encouraged to assimilate and embrace the American way of life. That assimilation process has been killed by the Democrats and their open-border policy. Unfortunately, we are now seeing the results of that terrible policy.
The New York City mayor’s race is a loud message to the rest of the country: We are coming, and too many of you have been indoctrinated educationally, to the point where you lack the real knowledge and understanding to really know who we are or what we represent.
