He was born Feb. 28, 1943 in Milford to Daniel Palmer Anstine, Sr., of Cambridge, Md. and Margaret Ann Anstine (nee Manlove) of Milford. After his father returned from WWII, Danny and his family moved to Houston, where he grew up. He is a graduate of Milford High School and the University of Delaware. In 1964 Danny married Lynda Hughes, whom he met in college. He served in the U.S. Army in the Vietnam Conflict from 1967-68. Returning home, he lived and worked in New Castle County with his growing family. In 1973 Danny moved his family to Houston. Danny is best known for owning the Williamsville Country Store, which he and Lynda purchased in 1978. He enjoyed interacting with the customers and worked in the store until they sold the store to George Pechin, a close family friend, in 2002.

He is survived by his wife, Lynda; daughter, Jenifer; and son-in-law, Kevin Warren, daughter Michele and her partner Keith Duncan, and grandsons, Finn and Connor Warren.
