SMYRNA - Dale Elaine Collins, age 63, of Smyrna, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 16, 2015 at the Season's Hospice Wing at Christiana Hospital surrounded by her loving family and friends. She was born November 25, 1952 in Bridgeton, N.J., the daughter of the late Edward C. More and Caroline B. More of Dover, formerly of Shiloh, N.J. She worked for many years in accounting and most recently in school food service, to which she greatly enjoyed. An avid reader, expert conversationalist and a great cook to family and friends and to just about anyone who was hungry, Dale had a passion for visiting flea markets and going "junking." She also enjoyed watching Jeopardy, country music and NASCAR. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her brother, Elmer More; and her grandson, Leland Collins. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her loving husband of 44 years, John; two children, Jaime Arment and her husband, Brandon of Townsend, and John Edward Collins and his wife Laura of Smyrna; her two "grandgirls", Lacey Arment and Isabella Collins; her brother, Harold More and his wife Sue of Stevens, Pa.; and many nieces, nephews and extended family members. She is also survived by many dear friends. A viewing will be held on Tuesday, December 22, 2015 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. in the Faries Funeral Chapel, located at 29 S. Main Street in Smyrna. Funeral services will begin at 6 p.m. A private burial will be held at Fernwood Cemetery in Bridgeton, N.J. at a later date. Condolence letters may be sent by visiting www.fariesfuneralhome.com.
