Tappan Black, 34 LAUREL - Crystal Michelle Tappan Black passed away peacefully Wednesday, December 24, 2014 surrounded by her Family and Friends, shortly after being diagnosed with cancer. Crystal is pain free in the Glory Land with our Lord and Savior. Crystal loved Traveling with her family, Crocheting, Scrapbooking, Taking pictures, Enjoyed taking her nieces and nephews to the zoo, and Loved spending time with her family and friends. Crystal had a Generous, Kind and Loving Heart, she was Loved by many and will be truly missed. Crystal was a House Wife and Step Mom. Above all Crystal was Saved by the Blood of Jesus Christ and Loved God with all her heart & soul and was Faithful to Him until He called her home to Heaven. She is preceded in death by her Grandmother, Frances Sipple Robinson; and her Aunt, Donna Lyons Passwaters. Crystal is survived by her Husband, Gary Black of Laurel; Step-son, Jacob Black of Laurel; Mother, Norma Waishes of Houston; Father, Dennis Tappan of Royersford, Pa.; Uncle(Like a second Father), David Passwaters of Houston; Mother & Father-in-Law, Loretta and Jack Black of Farmington; Sister & Brother-in-Law, Stacy and Harry Payton of Seaford; Sister & Brother-in-Law, Jaime Tappan and Jonathan Rust of Houston; Sister, Tanya Tappan of Seaford; Brother, Shayne Tappan of Royersford, Pa.; and many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces and Nephews. A Memorial Service will be held at Bayview Baptist Church in Laurel @ 2:00 p.m. on January 24, 2015. There will be fellowship following the Memorial Service with Food, Family and Friends.
