CRISFIELD — The Crisfield episode of It Takes a Choir that was filmed over two years ago for the USA Network will be shown free of charge 6:30 p.m. Monday, March 16 at the Crisfield High School auditorium.
“Crabbin’ and Choirin’ in Crisfield” is the story of British choirmaster Gareth Malone working in just a few days to pull together disparate voices to put on a community performance, which was held Jan. 27, 2013 at the Mar-Va Theater in Pocomoke City. It was not until Dec. 29, 2014, however, when the show finally aired on TV as part of a mini-marathon of episodes that followed Mr. Malone as he organized choirs in various American towns.
The screening is sponsored by the Crisfield Area Chamber of Commerce, call 410-968-2500 for more details. A prior show date had been cancelled due to the weather.
