Crisfield Police want to talk to area man about Oct. 6 homicide

CRISFIELD — Crisfield Police would like to speak to Micah Lamar Blue, as part of their investigation into the Oct. 6 murder of Mark Laquan Smith at the Crisfield Housing Authority.

Blue, 34, who resided at 509 Twin Creeks Lane in Salisbury is wanted for questioning only at this time. He is also known to be in the Freedomtown Road area outside Crisfield city limits.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call 911 or the CPD at 410-968-1323, ask for Pfc Edward Vogt or Pfc Mark Merritt.

Smith, 25, had been staying with his girlfriend and was gunned down around 20 minutes after midnight outside 138 Somers Cove. A gun was found next to him, along with narcotics and cash.
