CAMDEN - Corinne N. Shehorn, 78, of Camden passed away Saturday, Sept. 12, 2009, at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on April 5, 1931, in Wilmington, daughter of the late Lemuel and Viola (Edler) Graves. Corinne enjoyed life as a homemaker. Her hobbies included knitting, jewelry making and leather crafting. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, John H. Graves. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Elvin H. Shehorn; eight children, Richard Shehorn of Hartly, Lance Shehorn of Camden, Donna Thomas of Felton, Barry Shehorn of Frederica, Dale Shehorn of Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., Cheryl Tripp of Frederica, Thomas Shehorn of Wilmington, Ohio, and Sharon Kemp of Harrington; six siblings, Charles Graves of Laurel, Dorothy Lawson, and Doris Prettyman, both of Salisbury, Md., Mildred Beeson of Smyrna, Betty Jane Graves of Woodside, and Lemuel Graves of Dover; 13 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Services will be 1 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 17, at Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming, where friends may call two hours earlier. Burial will follow in Sharon Hills Memorial Park, Dover. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the funeral home to help with expenses.
