Corbet L. Scarborough, 45 LAUREL - Corbet L. Scarborough, age 45, of Laurel, passed away while visiting his brother in North Carolina. Cherished family memories include his love of fishing and spending the day at work. Corbet has a giving heart and would donate his time, skills and supplies to build and restore numerous buildings around Laurel. He is survived by his son, Roy Scarborough; a daughter, Breann Scarborough; his brother, Ed Scarborough; sisters, Brenda Whealton and husband John, Faith Ann Hartman and husband Mark; a niece, Sandy Whealton; his nephews, Rich Whealton, and Phillip Hartman; and a close friend "Carlos." A Funeral Service was held at the Hannigan, Short, Disharoon Funeral, Laurel, on Friday July 16. The Pastor Tim Dukes officiated. Interment followed in Odd Fellows Cemetery.
