Connie Hurley, 43

DOVER - Connie Hurley, died Tuesday, June 2, 2009, in Kent General Hospital. She was 43. Connie was born Sept. 2, 1965 in Dover, to Lex and Betty Miller. She was a chef at Westminster Village retiring in 2005. Connie enjoyed Yankee candles, shopping gardening and was a fan of NASCAR driver Jeff Gordon. She loved spending time with her family and especially being with her granddaughter, Pearl. She was preceded in death by her brother, David Miller; and her sister, Deborah Clay. She is survived by her two daughters, Crystal and Cierra Hurley, both of Frederica; her parents, Lex Miller of Lepsic and Betty Miller of Maryland; her sister, Susan Little of Little Creek; and her granddaughter, Pearl Hurley of Frederica. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Friday June 5, 2009 at Torbert Funeral Chapel South, 1145 E. Lebanon Road (Rt.10). Friends may call one hour prior. Interment will be in Sharon Hills Memorial Park, Dover. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to Torbert Funeral Chapel, 61 S. Bradford St., Dover, DE 19904. Letters of condolence may be sent, and guestbook signed at www.torbertfuneral.com.
