SALISBURY — Charities in Somerset County will have an opportunity to learn how to make applications easier and more efficient for grants sought from the Community Foundation of the Eastern Shore (CFES) during a public workshop at 10 a.m. on Thursday, June 15 at the Crisfield Library.
In response to ever increasing inquires for funding support, the Community Foundation has acquired computer software specifically designed to make submitting grant applications less time consuming while also simplifying the process. After July 1st the Community Foundation will no longer accept paper applications or letters of inquiry for grants.
The free training will help nonprofits in Somerset County learn how to efficiently use the Foundation’s new grants application portal. Upcoming grant deadlines include: Community Needs – August 1st; and the Education Grants Program – August 25th.
For more information about the improved application process, and to sign-up for the software training, visit www.CFES.org.
