This is one of the clearest examples of pork-barrel spending the state has seen.
It is striking that several municipalities in New Castle County, whose elected representatives serve on the committee making funding recommendations, have received project funding for several consecutive years, while other municipalities in Sussex County have gone unfunded during that same period.
