Fomundam (retired), 69 SMYRNA - Col. George Bah Fomundam (retired) of Smyrna, passed away Sunday, March 1, 2015 at Kent General Hospital. He was 69. Col. Fomundam was born May 5, 1945 in Gwofon-Mbengwi, Cameroon, West Africa to the late Godfred Fomundam and Lydia Nyoh Fomundam. He served in the Cameroon Military for 34 years, retiring in 2003. Mr. Fomundam came to the United States in 2003 where he worked as a military consultant/facilitator. He enjoyed, tennis, photography and working with young soldiers. He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Adeline Fobid Fomundam of Smyrna; children, Ethel, Mark, Angela, Kenneth and Karl; many siblings, nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Friday, March 20, 2015 at the Crossroad Christian Church, 4867 North Dupont Highway, Dover, DE 19901.
