Clyde L. Hibbler Jr.

Clyde L. Hibbler Jr., 46 DOVER - Clyde L. Hibbler Jr., of Dover, died Monday, Jan. 25, 2010. He was 46. Mr. Hibbler was born Aug. 17, 1963, in Perrine, Fla., to Sue Hodge Hibbler and the late Clyde L. Hibbler Sr. He owned and operated his own trucking company, AA Towing and DC Transportation. Mr. Hibbler enjoyed fishing, hunting, shooting pool, being a business man, and game night with his family. He will be remembered for his pleasant personality and being a jokester. Mr. Hibbler loved being with his children, and was always looking out for their welfare. He loved to BBQ but his specialty was his ribs. Besides his father, he was preceded in death by his son, Clyde L. Hibbler III. He is survived by his companion, Debra Hess of Dover; his son, Benjamin Hibbler and his companion Kasey Ricketts of Dover; step daughter, Jackie Slaughter of Dover; sisters, Marie Gillis of Crumpton, Md., and Ella Culver and her husband Roger of Hartly; foster brother, Joseph Hill and his wife Sandy; granddaughter, Shelby Boyd of Berry, Ky.; two step grandchildren and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 30, at Torbert Funeral Chapel South, 1145 E. Lebanon Road (Rt.10), Dover. Interment will be at Odd Fellows Cemetery, Camden. Letters of condolence may be sent, and guestbook signed at www.torbertfuneral.com.
