Clarence V. 'Vince' McCabe II, 46
DAGSBORO - Clarence V. "Vince" McCabe II, of Dagsboro, passed away Thursday, April 17, 2008, in Frankford. He was 46.
Vince was born Jan. 26, 1962, in Salisbury, Md., to the late Clarence Vincent and Sue Ella (Long) McCabe.
He was a self-employed owner/operator truck driver for many years.
Vince loved surf fishing and driving his truck.
He was a loving father and his kids always brought him a smile.
Vince also was a loving brother and a good-hearted person, even though people that knew him knew that he was stuck in "his ways."
Vince is survived by two sons, Clarence Vincent McCabe III and Eben James McCabe, both of Statesville, N.C.; one brother, William McCabe and his companion Michelle of Laurel; one sister, Malinda Ray Moore and her husband Joseph A. Jr. of Millsboro; three nephews, Joseph A. Moore IV, William M.L. McCabe and Dylan McCabe; and one great-nephew, Joseph A. Moore V.
Services will be 8 p.m. Thursday in the Watson Funeral Home, 211 S. Washington St., Millsboro, where a viewing will begin at 6 p.m.
Pastor Parris Sexton will officiate the service.
Interment will be private.
Instead of flowers, the family asks for contributions to the trust fund for his sons, Clarence and Eben, payable to PNC Bank, Attn: Amber Altemose, 104 Main St., Millsboro, DE 19966.
