HARRINGTON - Clarence Jackson "Jack" Black, of Harrington, left this life, Saturday, March 5, 2016, after a brief illness. He was 70. Born March 24, 1945, in Milford; Clarence was the youngest son of the late, Earl & Hazel (Dill) Black. Jack was employed for many years, by Nanticoke Homes, until an auto accident left him a paraplegic in 1985. His determination always exceeded his disability. In this he inspired all who knew him. He will be greatly missed. Jack is survived by his wife of 45 years, Loretta (Caudell) Black; two sons, Brian J. Black, of Harrington; and Gary E. Black & wife, Sarah, of Laurel; a sister, Joyce Thompson, of Dover; two brothers, Kenneth Black, of Laurel and Dolphus Black, of Houston; five grandchildren and many nieces & nephews. A Private Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Condolences may be sent via: www.pippinfuneralhome.com.
