Clara Evelyn Scull, 92

GREENWOOD - Clara Evelyn Scull, of Greenwood, died Tuesday, Aug. 25, 2009, at her home. She was 92. Clara was born Jan. 14, 1917, in Glen Riddle, Pa., the daughter of Henry and Phoebe Wagner. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Scull attended the Greenwood UMC in Greenwood. Clara was known as the "flower lady" in Greenwood for many years. She was an avid newspaper reader and would always watch the news and weather on television. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Russell in 1996; a brother, Harry Wagner; and a sister, Dorothy Wilgus. She is survived by a daughter, Barbara Willey and her husband Chris of Milford; two sons, Wayne Scull and his wife Sue of Finksburg, Md., and Larry Scull of Houston, Texas; five grandchildren, Marc and Valerie Hassler, Alyson Mobley, and Ryan and Brad Scull; three great-granddaughters, Beth, Moira, and Madison; a sister, Joan Hunsicker of Media, Pa., and her two daughters, Wendy and Holly; a brother-in-law, Robert Scull of Lima, Pa.; other nieces and nephews and her dog Susie. Funeral services were Friday, Aug. 28, at the Fleischauer Funeral Home, 16 W. Market St., Greenwood. Interment will be held at St. Johnstown Cemetery, Greenwood. Donations may be made to either Delaware Hospice, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE 19963 or Greenwood Cheer Nutrition Program, 41 Schuze St., Greenwood, DE 19950.
