Clara B. Heldmyer, 95

MIDDLETOWN - Clara B. Heldmyer, of Middletown, passed away at her home on Tuesday, June 10, 2008. She was 95.

Born in Galena, Md., she was the daughter of the late Harry and Mary (McCoy) Bolton.

Mrs. Heldmyer was a housewife most of her life who enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, J. Roland Heldmyer, Sr.; a daughter, June M. Heldmyer; a son, John R. "Jack" Heldmyer, Jr.; two sisters; and one brother.

She leaves many wonderful memories to her daughter, Joanne H. Unruh and her husband, Earl, of Middletown; four grandchildren, Earl J. Unruh, Jr. and his wife, Cindy, Teresa Fischetti, John R. "JR" Heldmyer III and his wife, Melissa, and Jackie Heldmyer; six great grandchildren; and one great-great granddaughter.

A graveside memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 18, at Old St. Anne's Cemetery, Del. 71 South, Middletown.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Mrs. Heldmyer's memory to the Volunteer Hose Co. of Middletown, 27 W. Green St., Middletown, DE 19709.
