CRISFIELD — This Friday, Dec. 1 at 6:30 p.m. the Crisfield Area Chamber of Commerce sponsors the annual Christmas parade along West Main Street from Somerset Avenue to the firehouse. There is no fee to participate and floats, marching units, bands, dance troupes, decorated ATVs and more are expected to participate. It is also Christmas in Crisfield with many businesses offering deals and discounts. See this week’s County Times for coupons. Among the featured items is the arrival of Santa Claus will be at Water’s Edge Café for breakfast with children 9 to 11 a.m. Santa will arrive at the City Dock courtesy of the U.S. Coast Guard.

The next two days on Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 2-3 the Chesapeake Lodge No. 147 will hold its first Masonic Christmas Bazaar from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the lodge located on the corner of Somerset Avenue and West Main Street. Vendors of all kinds, food and even a small number of quality live Christmas trees will be on sale. On Saturday, Dec. 9 The Gathering Place (formerly Circle Inn) at the entrance to Crisfield will host Santa Claus for breakfast 9 a.m. to noon. For details call 410-968-1600. That afternoon visit the Crisfield Library on Maryland Avenue and Collins Street for Toy Making with the Elves, a free event noon to 2 p.m. sponsored by the Friends of Crisfield. After toy making the movie Elf will be shown.
