DOVER - Christine Anne Gatto died Mar. 29, 2013 at Bay Health Medical in Dover. Born in Amsterdam, N.Y. she was the daughter of the late Francesco & Stella Della Posta. She had held a Master's Degree in Education from State University of NY. located in New Paltz, N.Y. She had resided in Dover since 1990. She was a dedicated mother and grandmother who enjoyed the time spent with her family. She had been a life-long New York Yankees fan and was an avid reader with an intense interest in history. Besides her parents she was predeceased by one brother; and one sister. Christine is survived by her loving children, Fred A. Gatto and wife Patti of Dover and Marie G. Crosson and husband Stanley of Dover; two brothers, Frank and Thomas Della Posta both of N.Y.; three grandchildren, Dominic, Tony and Danny Gatto all of Dover; along with two sisters in-law; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be held on Sat., Apr. 6, 2013 at 1 p.m. at Our Queen of Apostles Church in Frankfort, N.Y. followed by interment in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Frankfort, N.Y. Life's End Services are by Michael J. Ambruso Funeral Director, Inc. Dover. Condolences may be made via www.ambruso.com.
