SALISBURY — Chesapeake Health Care (CHC) is delighted to announce the appointment of Sujata Malla, CRNP-PMH, as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, bolstering the organization’s commitment to providing exceptional behavioral health services.

Malla brings a robust background in nursing and psychiatric mental health care to her new role at Chesapeake Health Care. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, AZ, and a Master of Science in Nursing - Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner from Frontier Nursing University in Versailles, KY.

Prior to joining Chesapeake Health Care, Malla served as a registered nurse at TidalHealth Peninsula Regional, where she demonstrated outstanding leadership as the outpatient clinical nurse for the behavioral health Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP). Her responsibilities included overseeing daily operations, facilitating therapeutic group activities, and conducting comprehensive consultations, including medication review and management, in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

In her new capacity, Malla will be a vital asset to Chesapeake Health Care’s behavioral health care team in Salisbury, contributing her expertise and passion for patient-centered care.
