CRISFIELD — Charter Communications (NASDAQ: CHTR) has brought faster Internet Speeds to customers in the Crisfield area just in time for the holidays. On December 2, Charter raised Internet speeds for residential customers from 8 Mbps to 60 Mbps and business customers from 25 Mbps to 60 Mbps at no additional cost.
Charter Spectrum Internet™ plans will now start at 60 Mbps – 20 times faster than standard DSL– enabling customers to simultaneously stream videos, download music and more without sacrificing Internet performance. Residential and business customers may also choose Spectrum Internet services with speeds of up to 100 Mbps. Internet modems are provided free of charge.
The speed increase stems from Charter’s commitment to providing innovation and value to customers. “Charter continuously invests in our network to deliver superior products and provide better service – and this speed increase reflects that,” said Woody Hutton, vice president of Charter’s south region. “Through these investments we differentiate Charter from the competition.”
Customers did not need to take any action to receive the speed increase. For more information about the Charter Spectrum services, customers can visit www.charter.com or call 1-888-GET-CHARTER.
