LABELLE - Charlotte Helen Bunker passed away Apr. 23, 2015 in LaBelle and was born Oct. 20, 1917 in Bucksport, Maine, to late Raymond F. and the late Elsie Saunders Cushing. She graduated from Bucksport High School where she and Linwood Sterling Bunker met and later married. They were married for 69 years and had two children, Wayne and Carol. In 1952, they moved to Miami where they lived for the next 35 years. Charlotte was a wonderful loving wife and mother. She loved to paint, sculpt, play the organ, do needlework and sew. Charlotte retired from First Federal Savings and Loan of Miami and Sterling from McArthur Dairy. They traveled by motorhome for the next 25 years before settling in Ft. Myers. Charlotte was a very wise woman, she loved God, family, friends and her country. We are left with many wonderful stories, memories and a great example of how to live. Sterling preceded her in death in 2008. Charlotte is survived by two brothers, Raymond E. and Raymond F. Cushing and preceded in death by one sister, Evelyn. She is also survived by son, Wayne (Gloria) Bunker; grandsons, David (fiancé Kim) and Greg; great granddaughter, Brooklin; a granddaughter, Diana (Chris); great-granddaughters, Mya, Lyla and Hazel, all residing in Homestead; and daughter, Carol (Bob) Bottoms; grandson, Todd (Lindsey); great-grandchildren, Ty, Laelynn and Kade; grandson, Tim (Tabitha); and great-grandchildren, Cadence and Gregory. A private family inurnment will take place at a later date in Miami Memorial Park in Miami. Cremation Arrangements: by Akin-Davis Funeral Home - LaBelle.
