HARRINGTON - Charlotte A. Peabody, of Harrington, passed away on Monday, Aug. 9, 2010, at Bayhealth - Milford Memorial Hospital. She was 62. Charlotte was born in Felton, to the late Clarence and Mary Marie (Dill) Kenton. She was a cashier in Walmart in Milford for 18 years. In addition to her parents, a sister, Wanda Marie Kenton, preceded her in death. She is survived by her husband, Harold Peabody; four children, Shannon Smith and her companion Robert Helmen, Sr., and David McAdams, all of Marydel, Leslie Kesler and her friend Joseph Willis, and Stephanie Engels, all of Harrington; two grandchildren, Caleb Smith and Michala Engels; one sister, Sylvia Jean McAdams of Greenwood; and two brothers, Roy Kenton and William Pearson, both of Camden-Wyoming. Funeral Services will be 1 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 14, 2010, in the Chapel of Berry-Short Funeral Home, Main St., Felton, where friends may call Friday night from 7 to 9 p.m. Interment will be in Mt. Olive Cemetery, Sandtown.
