Charles Wesley Bostick, 84 FELTON - Charles Wesley Bostick, 84, of Felton, passed away peacefully, while surrounded by his family, at the Delaware Hospice Center, on July 16, 2010. He was the son of Charles and Esther Bostick. Charles was a lifetime Felton resident. He retired after 30 years from the Delaware Department of Transportation (DOT). He was a 60+ year member of the Felton Fire Company serving several offices during that time. He was a member of the Felton-Viola United Methodist Church, VCF Ruritan Club,Kent County 4-H Links, and a past member of Delaware Family Campers and RV'ers. Charles enjoyed NASCAR racing, camping and serving his community. Charles is survived by his wife of 57 years, Doris Wroten Bostick; three children, Samuel Wesley Bostick, Susan Bostick Shank, and her husband Steven and Lisa Bostick Chambless and her husband Andrew; eight grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; and a sister, Betty Bostick Dill. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Jeanette Bostick Voshell. Funeral Services will be on Thursday, July 22, 2010, at the Felton Fire House Main Street, Felton at 1 p.m. and friends may call for viewing hours Wednesday July 21, from 7 to 9 p.m., also at the Firehouse. Interment will be at the Odd Fellows Cemetery in Camden. Arrangements handled by Berry-Short Funeral Home, Felton. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Felton Fire Company or the VCF Ruritan Club, P.O. Box 9, Viola, DE 19979.
