LINCOLN - Charles W. "Butch" Warren passed away at Berlin Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Berlin, Md. surrounded by his family on Tuesday, Aug. 8, 2017. Charles was born on Dec. 3, 1945 in Milford to Frederick J. and Margaret (Barrett) Warren.
Butch was a business agent with LIUNA Local 199 Newark for 38 years. He maintained membership for 49 years, after retiring in 2006. He was a Past Governor and Youth Director of Milford Moose Lodge 2316. Butch was Past President of Milford Minor Little League, and coached the White Sox team for 15 years. He enjoyed daily coffee at Dolce Bakery and Coffee Shop with friends to discuss and solve the world's problems. Butch loved his family, and absolutely adored his grandchildren. He was an avid supporter, biggest fan, and extremely proud of each accomplishment that his children and grandchildren made.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Melinda Haines.
Butch is survived by his wife of 54 years, Rose (Messick) Warren; his children, John and Lisa Warren of Milford, Robert and Suzanne Warren of Lincoln; his grandchildren, Brooke Haass and husband Jeffrey, Christopher Warren and wife Emily, Cara Warren, Spencer Warren and Nickolas Warren; great-grandchildren, Tyson Gomez and Ryder Gomez.
Funeral Services will be held in the chapel of Berry-Short Funeral Home, 119 NW Front St., Milford on Monday, Aug. 14, 2017 at 1 p.m., with a time of visitation taking place Sunday, Aug. 13, 2017 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Interment will be held at the Lincoln Cemetery.
