SUDLERSVILLE - Charles Joseph DeRose, of Sudlersville, died Thursday, July 21, 2011, at Bay Health Medical Center, Dover. He was 72. Charles J. DeRose was born Feb. 2, 1939, in Newark, the son of the late Charles J. DeRose Sr. and Rosie A. "Bright" DeRose. Mr. DeRose was a 1958 graduate of Newark High School. He worked as a heavy equipment operator. He moved to Queen Anne's county in 1980. Mr. DeRose was a member of the Moose Lodge in Camden Wyoming. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Margaret DeRose of Sudlersville; three sisters, Catherine Swanson of Townsend, Margaret Antoine of Oklahoma, Patty Wolfe of Hartley; and two brothers, Joseph DeRose of Newark, and John DeRose of North East, Md. Interment will be in Gracelawn Memorial Park in Wilmington. In memory of Uncle Charlie contributions can be sent to The Shepherds Chapel, P.O. Box 416 Gravette, AR 72736-0416.
