DOVER - Charles Graham Stanbery of Dover passed away Monday, Dec. 22, 2014 at the University of Pennsylvania. Mr. Stanbery was born Oct. 23, 1942 in Tennessee to Margaret Reagan Stanbery and the late Wade C. Stanbery. He worked for M & W Furniture Sales in Suitland, Md., a family owned and operated business for 20 years. In the 1970's he started C&S Radio, a company that specialized in the repair and sales of CB radios. He enjoyed helping people and everyone knew that Charles could fix or repair anything. His favorite activity was mowing the grass. He was a member of Southern Maryland Street Rods and had several show cars. He is survived by his mother, Margaret Stanbery of Owings, Md.; his wife of 17 ½ years, Lynda Mae Herbert Stanbery of Dover, Del.; sons, Charles Wade Stanbery "Butch" and his wife Carolyn of Chesapeake Beach, Md., Wade John Stanbery and his wife Jennifer of Dunkirk, Md., Curtis Susa of Garrett County, Md.; daughters, Tammy Passailaigue and her husband John of Savannah, Ga., Christina Stanbery of Middletown, Del., April Anderson and her husband Brian of Edgewater, Md.; sister, Iva Lee Rivera of Owings, Md.; grandchildren, Dominic Stanbery, Brianna Anderson, Caitlyn Stanbery, Tyler Stanbery, Andrea Anderson and Alexandra Stanbery. Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Monday, Dec. 29, 2014 and funeral services will be held Tuesday, Dec. 30, 2014 at 11 a.m. at Torbert Funeral Chapel South, 1145 E. Lebanon Road (Rt.10), Dover. Interment will be in Sharon Hills Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made to The American Cancer Society, 92 Reads Way, #205, New Castle, DE 19720.
