DOVER - Charles F. Carner passed away Friday, Jan. 23, 2015 in his home surrounded by his loving family. Charles was born on March 1, 1923 in Williamsport, Pa., son of the late Charles and Marian (Slone) Carner. He worked for DAFB as an aircraft field maintenance. Charles is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Jane Carner; two daughters, Carol and her husband, Tom and Deborah and her husband Gary, six grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. Viewing will begin at 12 noon today, Sunday, Jan. 25 at the Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming, where a celebration of life with family sharing will begin at 1:00 p.m. Services will conclude with a graveside committal at 2:00 p.m. at Lakeside Cemetery, Dover. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donation to Compassionate Care Hospice, 28467 Dupont Blvd., Suite 6, Millsboro, DE 19966 or Kent County SPCA, 32 Shelter Circle, Camden, DE 19934.
