DOVER — The Central Delaware Chamber of Commerce hosted a ribbon cutting for OnPoint Therapy & Wellness Nov. 6 at 5502 S. Dupont Hwy, Woodside Shopping Center, Suite 4, in Dover.

Chamber members and friends joined CEO and physical therapist Leo Fernandez and the OnPoint Therapy & Wellness team to celebrate the grand opening.

OnPoint Therapy offers a range of short and long-term treatments including treatment for orthopedic conditions like arthritis and bursitis, that influence the musculoskeletal system (bones or joints).

OnPoint provides treatment and monitoring on sports-related injuries such as rotator cuff, neck and shoulder dysfunctions, nerve entrapment tendonitis, plantar fasciitis, sciatica, and meniscal.

The OnPoint Therapy & Wellness team can help patients suffering from acute and chronic pain. Additionally, OnPoint Therapy offers dry needling, Parkinson’s programs, fall and recovery prevention, and vestibular balance disorders.

“This has been a long-time dream: being a physical therapist for 23 years and working for companies, we realized that, in order to better serve the community, we will be more capable if we can fully decide what treatment recommendations are suitable for individual patients,” said Mr. Fernandez.

“We chose the Central Delaware community because of the diverse population. I am an active member of the Lions Club, we are excited to extend and share our expertise in the medical, health, and fitness community by providing free seminars and workshops. We would be interested in volunteering for the Central Delaware Chamber of Commerce to promote business and commerce in the area it serves,” said Fernandez on the goal of community engagement and service.
