Cecilia M. Sargent

Felton - Cecilia M. Sargent, of Felton, passed away in her home, surrounded by her loving family. She was 79. Cecilia was born July 22, 1935, in Philadelphia, Pa., to the late, William & Marguerite (Grover) Buntz. She was a Communicant of Holy Cross Catholic Church in Dover, and enjoyed going to Bingo. Cecilia liked to cook, watch General Hospital, and was an avid Eagles fan. Her favorite thing to do was to spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Cecilia was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Sargent. Cecilia is survived by her nine children, Mary Ann T. Wiestner & husband, John, of Hot Springs, Ark., William A. Sargent, & wife, Pamela, of Cincinatti, Ohio, Albert A, Sargent, of Dover, Donna M. Wiestner & husband, Jim, of Fort Worth, Texas., Stephen F. Sargent & wife, Maureen, of Webster, Texas, Charles E. Sargent, & wife, Beth, of Monroeville, Ala., Edward C. Sargent, & wife, Sue, of San Antonio, Texas, Robert W. Sargent, & wife, Dawn, of Milford, and Francis J. Sargent, & wife, Tracy, of Wyoming; grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. The family wishes to thank the nurses, cna's, and caregivers of Delaware Hospice, for their kindness and compassion given to them during their time of need. Services will take place privately. Contributions may be made in her memory to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital Memorial Program, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or to Delaware Hospice, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE 19963.
